US Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC)

The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) is a maritime based youth leadership development program sponsored by the U.S. Navy and supported by the U.S. Coast Guard. Cadets train on naval bases and other military installations in a variety of military disciplines, always choosing adventure, seeking challenges, and stepping outside of their comfort zones to prove to the world that Greatness Has No Age.​

Who Can Join?

  • The USNSCC is for youth ages 10-18

  • You must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident

  • You must be in good academic standing

What Do Cadets Do?

  • Participate in a Unit Drill: we meet one weekend a month

  • Graduate Recruit Training or Orientation (bootcamp) a fast paced 7 - 14 day training focused on basic military instruction and team building

  • Participate in the International Exchange Program (IEP)

  • Attend Advanced training camps (1-2 Weeks Long)
